The Twelve Best Anime of 2012

Unlike last year when it was hard to create a list because I felt there only were a handful of good series, it is now hard due to there being too many good ones to choose from.

I hate lists.

12 Days of Christmas 2012 #10 – Cute Boys Doing Cute Things and Boys Being Boys

Last year we had Kimi to Boku, something as unusual as a slice-of-life series about boys, and not girls, doing absolutely nothing except living their lives (or, cute boys doing cute things). With no real expectations, especially since it was done by the hit-or-miss studio J.C. Staff, it completely caught me off-guard and blew me away.

Spring 2012 Impressions – Halfway There

With school soon over, there will be plenty of time for good weekly scheduling for blog posts. As the situation stands today, I cannot say I am very proud over the results, with tons of posts one month and barely any in another. The following summer will be a lot of fun in return, I can assure you!

In What Anime World Would You Live? – Part 2

Let us skip the long introduction and get straight to the point: this post features anime worlds I would like to live in. Or, actually, it does not have to be worlds I would like to live in, but rather borrowing certain aspects from the mentioned worlds and putting them in our own. It is kind of like merging our own world with an anime world. Why not steal a character or two, or being able to “lift” as in Eureka Seven? Fall 2011 Impressions

Halloween is upon us and so are the fall 2011 impressions. So far, it has been a rather lacklustre season, with the big meat named Guilty Crown failing to live up to its initial expectations.
