As crazy as this may sound, Anime Viking has now reached 100 posts! Or, rather, 101 counting this one, but nevertheless!

Happy 2013 and A Little Notice

First of all, I want to wish you a Happy New Year! Let us hope 2013 will be a good year.

During last month, Dec 2012, I published a lot of posts and I now feel really exhausted. I have never written so much before! I cannot believe some bloggers can keep up this high pace without sacrificing all of their free time (then again, I am a slow writer).

Therefore I will take a little break and be back around Jan 15th and then continue as usual with a new post about every seven to ten days. There might be some other things happening too, but nothing I can guarantee.

There will, however, come a final post on Sword Art Online by Myst and I in the coming days!

Thankfully, I have trustworthy friends at my side and they are heroes imbued with the same passion for justice.

Like everyone, a defender of justice has his share of rough times, but I refuse to get discouraged!

There has been a severe lack of actual anime blog posts lately here on Anime Viking. That cannot be good. There are so many things happening at once in the anime blogosphere and the currently airing anime season that you have no idea what to do first. And if you are a weekly blogger, the charm of novelty will be gone if you delay certain posts too long. My post schedule will probably be irregular in the coming weeks, just so you know!

In any case.

A lot of people have been all cute and cuddly to me lately, mentioning me in their posts. At first it seemed like my fabulousness finally had reached out to other bloggers! But no, of course that was not the truth. I have too much personality to have my own personal harem. Instead it was an “Interrogation Game” in which bloggers asks each other questions. Madness I say.

The Viking’s New Clothes – Theme Switch and More!

Did you notice that something seems different about Anime Viking? Well, that is because it is different! There has been a theme switch and now everything is fresh and sparkly. But that is not all. There will also be some other, smaller, changes. Hit the jump to find out what!

A Simple Break Will Have to Do

It should not be surprise by now, but as you may have noticed, I have not really been an active blogger for about a month now. There are a number of reasons for this, some of them being silly moments of questioning my blogging capabilities, but the main reason is that I simply do not find it fun to write anymore. This, coupled with the fact I also received the very sweet bonus of suddenly finding it hard to write, has really worked against the existence of my blog. When it is neither fun, nor easy, resulting in a lack of motivation, there really is no reason to even force myself (I have tried), as everything that comes out will be half-hearted.

With this in mind, I humbly announce Anime Viking’s first hiatus.

Woah woah woah, I actually made it to the third round in the Aniblog Tourney. That is, what I would call, quite a feat. A rather big feat too, to be frank, considering that I am new in the anime blogosphere, only reaching six months around  last month. It is hard to say if it was thanks to my posts or popularity, but whatever the case, it is now time for the serious business.
